Nice win last night. Canes seem to own the Pens at PNC.
Raanta was excellent, and I agree with RBA: Jarry was phenomenal.
It would have been great to close it out in Regulation, but we'll gladly take the two points.
Now, if the Caps can handle the Rangers again today at MSG, how sweet that would be!
Jarvis has to be one of the Most Fun Guys for the Canes in some time. His celebration after Pesce scored the game winner was delightful.
I would think you would need Prime and an additional subscription to the sports package too.
From the ESPN article:
"Customers will be able to access their local team's content on Prime Video channels where Diamond has rights. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date. Regional sports content will also remain available on cable and satellite providers."
But, there is still a lot to be hashed out, not the least of which is approval from the bankruptcy judge.
Yeah, sop many people on social media are jumping the gun here. I'm seeing things like "no more blackouts" or "games will be free with Prime". I have no idea where people get this stuff. This isn't even approved and passed the first stage beyond the courts. Not like blackouts will go away anyway. TNT and EPSN already paid for those slots so it's not like they will be going away. I'm still willing to bet there will be an additional cost on top of Prime with this. Though fingers crossed it's not as much as the $20/mo I pay Bally+ now. :P
I'd be willing to bet we won't see any significant changes during this year's regular season let alone by the playoffs. Next Oct seems more likely.

I'd say the odds of an incremental fee are 1000:1. Amazon is already trying to increase the flow of milk and honey from Prime. Effective January 29, they're adding "limited" ads to free content that previously had no ads. Unless, of course, you pay an additional $3 per month to avoid them.
Haven't been able to watch the Canes lately, but it sounds like they are playing well despite having goaltending issues.
What's the difference? Is the defense playing better? Special teams?
Svechnikov in the lineup has been a tremendous asset.
Power play is hot.
Defense is spotty, but a bit better. Raanta seems to have wrassled his demons and improved. He only faced 12 shots last night, and the two goals were lapses that allowed uncontested shots.
The shorty was irritating.
