My fiance and I just moved down to North Carolina (Brier Creek area - from Michigan) about a month ago. We are looking for a nice restaurant to have a night out to celebrate all the new things happening in life! Any ideas?

Maggiano's in South Point.

Right now they have a $15 off $45 coupon around.

You could pick from any number of places in Durham, Raleigh or elsewhere. In N. Raleigh, I'd recommend Margaux's. Downtown Raleigh: Second Empire, Fins, Fraziers, Mint. Durham: Pop's, Nana's, Anotherthyme, Watts Grocery, Four Square, Magnolia Grill, etc...

If you're into steak, there's a Ruth's Chris in Cary.

Agreed. You should try a locally owned restaurant to celebrate.

For steak I'd go to Bin 54 in Chapel Hill

My top suggestion would be Margaux's followed by Second Empire.

Bloomsbury Bistro in Five Points area of Raleigh - can't go wrong here!! Midtown 115 in the North Hills area is also a great experience.

The husband and I LOVE Magnolia Grill. Not everyone is a fan (for reasons I don't quite understand) but we've always had a fantastic meal there. Granted, it gets noisy and the place is not the most romantic compared to others, but if you're looking for really delicious, original food with a Southern flare, I don't think you can go wrong there.
