Moving to the area and want to know if there are any areas to stay away from. So far I haven't heard of one bad thing about Wake Forest, but want to be sure. Thank you all for your help. Will be flying out there next week to look at properties.

Some areas are more desireable them others, just like everywhere else. There is some crime, but there isn't a place on the planet that is crime free.

However, even the 'worst' of Wake Forest, and you'll be able to know when you see it, isn't that bad. You aren't going to be blind sided if you buy a home.
