ETA: My daughter went to a birthday party for a 5 year old boy at Buffaloe Lanes in Cary. That's a great bowling alley (very clean and smoke free). They did a great party. They bowled for an hour then had pizza and cake and then got a few tokens for the arcade.
There is also a new place called Bounce U that opened in Apex. I have been to one party there. It's private and can accommodate parties of up to 25 I think.
Depends on when you plan to have it and what your budget is - but you could go to Pullen Park (Off of MLK blvd, Raleigh), or you could schedule a bday party at the Durham Bulls, or Carolina Hurricanes (they do bday parties). There's always home parties too!
What are the b'day party places options (20 people) for a 5 year old boy in morrisville/ cary area.
We are taking our son to Monkey Joe's in February. Have also been to Pump it up in Raleigh and Jump ZOne in Holly Springs. Both are nice and appropriate for a 5-year old.
TK's Jungle is appropriate. The parents may want to kill themselves by the end of the party, but that's par for the course for many five-year-olds' birthday parties.
Both are great for that age. We ruled out TK's Jungle because we could not have a private party there and we also had a large group. It's a nice facility though. The Museum of Life & Science is about a 20-25 minute drive, but the party is a great deal as all your guests and their parents get admission for the day.
We've also attended parties at Jellybeans that were a lot of fun: Jellybeans Skate Center and I've heard great things about Buffaloe Lanes.
