First post ever! We are moving to Cary to be closer to family. We are coming from Lexington KY. We have elementary school aged kids. We see Highcroft and Davis Dr. high marks, but new, small lot neighborhoods just aren't for us. I've noticed Adams, Salem...others with good marks. Could anyone suggest neighborhoods with a little rural charm? Older, trees, bigger lots, but safe/nice for younger families? We see Park Village and lovely as it is...it's just not for us. Spoiled by all the horse farms out here! It's hard to navigate just from Real Estate listings. Oh, and happy for others with their posts, but 600,000 is not our price range! More like 300,000. Any insight welcome. Thanks!

If you like the West Cary area, try looking at West Park, Brookstone, Wellsley. all lovely neighborhoods, established trees, wooded with multiple walking trails.
