Anyone? Maybe some bar runs a league or someone knows someone? My old local league is gone, looking for either a league to join or to join a few others to create one.....

I usually play in two leagues, one on Yahoo! and one on CBSsports (both ran by friends of mine). I've been looking for a keeper league, tho, so if anyone knows of an opening let me know.

I run a few leagues through Yahoo. They are money leagues...$150 buy in $2 per free agent pickup. I also play in a couple free leagues. I would be up for running/playing in a city-data league if we have the interest? We can do a more nominal buyin and drop the free agent cost? Email me at sacredgrooves@gmail.com
I am also running a league this year with radical rule differences as basically a farm league to implement new ideas into the main league. Thinking heavy on defensive players and variations in scoring. Really just get a bit tired of the norm and wanted something different. We tend to run a couple defensive players in the main league and it has added a nice twist to it.

Not interested in a "city data" league per se, just a local one FYI - not into free or radical rule diff's, just a pretty standard scoring league and no IDPS - strongly prefer auction draft but can flex on that and most other stuff. Oh and pls no kids - in fact frankly the codgier the better

Whats auction draft? Never played that way before...is that how you finance the league payout money?

I can't tell if you're kidding or not, but in case not: it's where instead of taking turns drafting people, you bid on each and every player. Each person takes turns throwing out a player and highest bid wins. Way more fun of a draft and unlike the "snake" drafts, totally fair - no whining about how you got a bad draft position.
