I need some welding done, the safety chain loop on my car's trailer hitch broke off and needs to be welded back on. Who can do this for me, or can recommend someone near downtown Cary that will take on a small welding job like this? Thanks!

I don't know anyone in Cary, but if you call Raleigh Hitch, they can probably do it.
Not sure if they would be interested but Mayhem Motorsports I know does welding, but it being such a small job and them being mostly performance car oriented, it may not be there "forte". Might want to give them a buzz though. They are located near the SAS Soccer park, not too far from downtown Cary.
Most muffler shops have a mig welder and can do it. I have gotten welding done for 1/2 hour labor charge. Also most performance car shops will do it as well.
Look on Craigslist - that's where we found ours. Although I believe there's one directly behind the Super Walmart in Holly Springs. It's a private home but I seem to remember seeing a "Welding" sign there. Hope that helps!
