Hi, I don't want to contribute anymore to corporate greed.

I'm not eligible for the state employee credit union - is there another good one that anyone can join? Or a solvent community bank? Thanks

We recently fled from BOA too. Used to have great service and I really trusted them, until I started getting wierd unsolicited calls from India....

We switched to First Citizens and are now getting GREAT service again.

Coastal all the way, if you're looking for a credit union. They have been very good to me. As far as banks go, BBT treated me well and they are considered a strong local bank.

My daughter loves Coastal. For many yrs I was a First Citizens customer, loved them. I also know the folks at Capital Bank and Crescent and am impressed with their customer service.
