We normally don't pick out our Frasier Fir until the week or so after Thanksgiving, but since we are celebrating Christmas with one side of our family during Thanksgiving this year, we'd like to get the tree up early and decorate it on Thursday while the feast is cooking. Anyone see any trees available in the Durham/Chapel Hill/Hillsborough area?? If so, please let me know
Corly

I'm not in your area, but I saw trees for sale outside the Food Lion in North Raleigh today.

Yes, I saw trees at the Food Lion near us in Chapel Hill. I also see them setting up the lot on the corner of MLK and Weaver Dairy, but I'm not sure when it opens. We usually get ours from the volunteer fire station on Whitfield, but I'm not sure when they start selling either.

I think there is a city ordinance or some such thing that says the independent tree sellers must wait till Friday after TG.
