Hello, I live in Wake Forest and I am looking for outdoor topiaries for outside the front door. Not sure if I want real or artificial. Does anyone know where I can find something like this? I have seen them online but I was hoping to find something local.

Lowe's was carrying the three ball topiaries in a decorative pot last weekend for $40! Less if they are in the 2 gallon container. I saw them at them at the farmer's market for two & three times that price. FM were larger & healthier, but with good soil & TLC the Lowe's plants were a steal at $40.

Be prepared to water them at least once a day if they are outside. If that is not something you want to do then get artificial. No point in having real ones if you don't care for them regularly.

Ballard Designs & Frontgate have the BEST outdoor topiaries. A bit pricey, but very high quality.

Most nurseries and places like Lowes and Home Depot have topiaries (spiral, ball, cone, etc.). I've bought several and most have done very well....especially the arborvitae spirals. If you decide against the real ones...take a look at Homewood Nursery in Raleigh. I've bought a few fake ones from them and they look really good. They have several sizes and some even have miniature lights already attached to the spiral. I've even seen some fake ones at Costco which cost less but they only have them once in awhile.
