Just finished my 45 hours of continuing education to renew my broker's license. License is good for 4 years and then we get to do it again.

What does your state require?

In Idaho it is 20 hours every two years.

3 or 4 hours of that is a required Core course.

Oregon:
120 hours pre-license
30 hour advanced class during first license review
30 hours of accepted course topics every two years (ie no "how to use Facebook in real estate" kind of classes can count). You have to take at least one Real Estate and Law Update class during that time.
Brokers class (40-60 hours, I can't remember) eligible after 3 years, and then pass a test to be a principal broker.

The OP says CE credits. Don't know why so many are telling about pre license.

I thought people that read contracts would get it exactly right. Most of them don't do that on actual contracts, so I guess I don't know why I thought that.
