Areas of the country without any property taxes?
Besides the bush of Alaska anyone aware of state regions or counties where property taxes do not exist?

I have lived in 5 of the top 14. Imagine that.
I could not have done better ( worse) if I tried.

I heard that there are areas of Arizona that pay no property taxes to school districts because they are listed as belonging to no school district.
( retirement communities ? )

Is there a reason you are focused on property taxes rather than overall tax burden? I mean in Oregon we have high property taxes (#16 on that list MAM linked to) but no sales tax.
I would think if there was no property tax there would have to be some other kind of tax for revenue.

When the economy collapses and there are no jobs there will be no income to pay whatever hyper inflated property taxes thus you risk losing your home. In an area without property taxes you can live off the land without risk of home loss in a downturn.
I have it laugh when I hear politicians or people claim we are a free country when in reality it is not since there is no such thing as real property ownership. If we had real property ownership we would not be renting the property from the government through property taxes.

Nothing in life is free.
I don't think they have property taxes on the moon yet and there is still land to homestead. Getting there can be a problem.
