What's rather freakish about paid dating sites is that the same people often end up there for years. I gave Match.com the requisite six months and then canceled my membership. But somehow my profile got activated again, and I had to go into the site. Same guy I went out with almost two years ago is still there. I can tell you: He, like many men I met, was not using the site to "date," exactly. Well, not in the tradition of taking a woman out and paying for dinner kind of date.
I don't understand the logic in someone paying for a service when all somebody wants it a one-night stand. Go to Craigslist or another free site. Plenty of people there available for that ...
