I think over 40 is old, but some people can be attractive past 40. But I think by 60, no matter how attractive you once were, you're not going to be attractive anymore. You're just too old. That's not to say people over 60 are bad people, it just means I don't think they have any chance of being attractive. When was the last time you saw a 60 year old pose for Playboy?
The cutoff for when your looks go downhill is different for everyone, like I said on another thread.

Amazingly, people over 60 still have sex. Clearly they attract somebody. I don't consider Playboy to be the measuring stick for attractiveness, anymore than I look to porn movies, and it's not like you or 99% of the population bang those girls anyway.

Put it into perspective. I would EXPECT a 19 year old to think over 40 is old the same as I EXPECT anyone over 40 to consider 19 still "wet behind the ears" ie..immature. Your post just happens to prove my point.

You make a good point. Younger doesn't always mean attractive, but the most attractive people are young. All old people are unattractive.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But it seems younger men/women are more attractive in general. Like I said, look at models, idols, singers, ballerina dancers, athletes, erotic male/female dancers, movies, etc.
As for personal preference, I somehow see women start to lose beauty around their 30s. It doesn't mean I would stop talking to someone that turned 30, wouldn't love my wife if she turned 30, etc. No, it just means her beauty is starting to fade just like mine. It would only be important if the relationship was based and focused on how we looked.
Yes JustJulia, its not like every woman/man is banging youngsters.
Call me crazy, but the thought of old person sex is just disturbing to me. Maybe it's because I'm young.
Yes, 99% of the population can't get a Playboy model. Why? Because the Playboy models are too good for them. That's the point of Playboy...for men to look at pictures of models that would never give them the time of day in real life.
If Playboy is not a measure of attractiveness, then why is it the most popular porn magazine?
Beauty follows you with age When your 30 and your wife is 30, she'll still be beautiful to you
I don't think 30 is too old. But I don't want to get married, so my non-existent wife is irrelevant.

If the model's faces looked like the picture SierraAZ posted earlier on this thread, I doubt they would want to look anywhere on the model. Besides, isn't beauty supposed to be the entire body, not just the face?

I know, huh? I don't think men/women remember an erotic dancer's face or something.
People have their preferences. Normally women who are older than me, in their 30s, etc. Just don't do it for me, when it comes to physical attraction. I feel their beauty is beginning to fade. Same thing will happen to me. Everybody ages.

Probably. When you are 60, 20-year-olds are not going to want to have sex with you. Your choices will probably be to enjoy someone your own age or go without.

I didn't say it wasn't *a* measure of attractiveness; I said it wasn't *my* measure of attractiveness. You like Playboy. Okay, good for you. My husband doesn't, nor do I. The women we find attractive aren't in Playboy, with the occasional exception. Playboy is not the gold standard of beauty for everyone. I like women and have been with women, but the only thing I feel when looking at "the girls next door" (Hefner's girlfriends, if they're still with him) is vague revulsion by their Barbie hair.
