You're right, it's all of us. We all belong to Facebook and CD groups and talk about short men all the time. In fact, I have a dinner date with 37 women from various forums on Thursday. We're going to the Olive Garden and talking about how much we hate short guys.

It took me just a couple of seconds to see how many posts on the subject had already been submitted and, purely based on wild speculation, some page numbers which seemed sufficiently authentic to appear believable. I could of course also have taken another look at your total postings and a quick glance at your post listings probably would have verified that, since somewhere around 95% of your posts have been dedicated to threads only addressing height issues in relationships, I wouldn't have been far off the mark.

Oh, you brought up romance novels, which is an interesting point. Regarding the Playboy thing in regards to romance novels, men are more stimulated by physical attributes and that's a scientific fact.
Women on the other hand, are more stimulated by imagination and romance. Have you ever read a romance novel? Sure, there are some pretty sexy scenes in them, but a lot of it is the man confessing his undying love etc. to the woman. Less physical, more mental.
Sure, I ogle dudes who go shirtless...but that doesn't mean I want to be with them in any way. I've met plenty of gorgeous, tall, tan, muscular men (in fact, I work with one now...he's ridiculously good looking) but the minute they opened their mouth all attraction went bye-bye. I've heard many men use the excuse 'well, at least she's hot' when dealing with a crazy woman, but rarely have I heard a woman say something similar.

Most Men do not want to deal wit ha crazy women no matter how hot she is..Sure theryes a few shallow guys who will put up with **** just like ive heard a few women say "I dotn know why she puts up with his bs its not like hes tall or good looking"
Both sides are shallow to a point..But most sane ones wont say f their dignity and put up with anything just because someone is hot..
Anyway this is my observation, in a social setting where the competition is intense, i.e., where there are very few women and a lot of men, a meat market to be point blank, most women are on their guard and are willing to only talk to the best looking guy in the room, i.e, the one that is tall and handsome, etc etc. In such a scenario, tall men have an advantage, I would rather say a huge advantage, because if they are decently dressed and can speak well enough, they can attract pretty much most women out there. However, if they don't dress that well or don't possess that charisma, a shorter guy who has those might beat them to it. Also, the shorter guy has to have a better game, game not in the sense of the crap that pua's show, but a genuine ability to talk well, make them laugh at his jokes, etc etc, if he has those qualities, I have seen very very few women who would reject such a guy for being short unless he is say 5'4" and below(feel sorry for those folks)
Also, this was only in a meat market setting, now consider a setting where there is a chance for the woman to see the guy's charisma or "presence", where the women are more relaxed, etc etc, without being on guard, examples like a volunteering activity, a meetup activity, or say a party at a friends' place, etc etc, it's pretty much your presence at the scene that dominates and trumps over your height, atleast in most cases, there are different kinds of women out there in the world with different personalities, and some of them might reject a guy even if he's a 10/10 in every other sense purely because of a lack of height, but I haven't really come across many of them, most women I have seen do give a guy a chance even if he were short to impress them in other means, mostly through his personality, charm etc etc, I hope such women stay in the majority for everyone's happiness.
So yeah there's a lot of hope for shorter dudes out there to be honest. Also, not to say this to be negative against women, but most women I have met in my life including my own seem to have a list of requirements that need to be met in a guy only to completely rewrite that list when they come across what they perceive to be the right guy, so it's not like any woman who says that she's NOT going to date a shorter guy is NOT going to do it, even if you don't accept it, it's a fact that most women tend to change that criteria saying "Oh just for this once and this one person, I can make an exception" etc etc.

I'm just going by my experiences with male friends I've had over the years. I've always worked in very male oriented professions (auto mechanic, and now aircraft mechanic) and most of my close friends are men. Sure, many of the guys I know don't put up with BS and would date a rather 'plain' girl if they were compatible, but the majority of the men I've come across will put up with complete insanity if the girl is hot enough. I was working with a mechanic a few years ago and his girlfriend was crazy, she used to come into work and yell at me because she thought he was cheating on her with me, she would come in and yell at him for leaving dishes in the sink, and we had to call the cops on a few occasions. They've been married 2 years now. She's crazy, but she's playboy material so he puts up with it.
I'm definitely not saying all men are like this, obviously, but it's always struck me as odd that my 'hot' and attractive friends were always paired off quickly regardless of insane they were. My rather plain friends who are intelligent, creative and funny are mostly still single.
Maybe dudes are attracted to crazy like women are attracted to 'bad boys'?
