Fat people act like they are the only one who gets judged as "less than" for their looks. Well guess what, most of us do not measure up to what is considered really attractive in society. The rest of us cope with the little bit of reality known as being average. Too short, too tall, big nose, unibrow, gimpy leg, beady eyes, too old, too young, crappy hair... that's life!
Quoted for truth. Sorry can not rep you.
-from a beady eyed, too tall, too old, partly bald guy. Who gives a rats behind what others might think about it unless they like me that way.
That's not what we were discussing. If you don't find someone attractive because they're thin, that's fine. But why the need to bash someone for being thinner than you? It's the bashing that implies jealousy.
I've seen people on here accuse others of being jealous simply because they said that a fit/thin person is unnattractive. No bashing involved.

Lao is pretty straight forward with his bashing of heavier folks...do you think it's out of jealousy?

Well I can't speak for those others, but if I see someone who's really thin or overweight, I may think to myself that person is too thin or overweight, but I don't feel the need to say it. One thing I've noticed among my female friends is how they'll comment out loud about another woman's appearance. OK, so you think that woman's a bone, but why tell me? Are you expecting me to join in and say she's a toothpick? I think when it comes to weight, people have a hard time knowing when to keep their thoughts to themselves. So it's not the thoughts, but rather the airing of those thoughts that says something about you.
In this thread, we had someone say that if your waist is below a certain number, then you're too thin. Too bad the guideline he was using to make that assessment is outdated and unreliable. But why does he need to tell that person he's too thin? Does that make him feel better about himself?
I think I know what their anger stems from!! They were beat up by the big girls on the playground.
Troublemaker!
I just thought that Antlered's comment that guys with waists over 32" must be fat and jealous ... was bizarre. My husband is 6'3" and weighed about 155 when we married. I remember his waist was 32/33" because I bought his jeans. He was very thin! Everybody said so. He hated being that thin.
Well, Denny, I think they truly think of themselves as average. Especially if they look around them and see people that you consider to be fat. You know the average size a woman wears these days? 12.
So, yes, they're average. They can't all be Kate Moss.

Actually I said you were fat. Than thinking about a 29" waist at 160 pounds I just found it unbelievable at first. As I said I think I was born with a bigger waist size than that.

Edit: 29" waist??? you got to be kidding. I think I had a 29" waist when I was born. You must look like an hourglass at 160 pounds.

You tell me. I am still waiting on advanced training in the art. With luck I can go up a belt fairly quickly. Not sure I have the patience to reach black belt, yellow may be fine.
It's funny how some women put on their profiles "curvy" and "average" in body type when in reality they are FAT.
