So disgusted right now and really want to cancel but do you think I can get by with wearing a WINTER HAT during the date? do you think there is any chance she would want me to take off my hat?

Based on your previous threads, I don't think a bad haircut should be your biggest concern.
Man up and show it off, make it a conversation piece. You can also buzz it off and tell her it's not normal but you got a bad haircut. Either way it will make for good ice breaker convo.
