Yeah, I guess I do know the numbers (even the "outstanding" interest on my savings account )... but I usually wait till I have all the papers in hand.
I have them all, except for my W-2...but I have the numbers, and I double-checked them in the W-2 file that's in process (one of the bennies of working on the P/R software team ) so I'm good to go.

The paychecks don't exactly run till the calendar end of the year every year, though.
Your last paystub of the year should have the YTD numbers on it already. I actually use my 12/31 paystub each year to do my taxes, and then verify the numbers with my W-2.

Oh yeah. And I need it badly this year. 2010 was a year of watching dollars flying out the window, as fast as they could. And my ex has turned into a @sswipe about money, which is just perfect since this year has been the MOST expensive year (as far as our son goes) so far!!! So yeah...I was itching to file that sucker!!
I just got a bill in the mail this weekend for $900...from my accident in July. Dang insurance DENIED it. Just what I need to start off 2011.
Wonderful! I got to know how much an ambulance costs. It's effing outrageous! Insurance does pick up 80%, but it's still disgusting... And what if you don't even have insurance?!
