The drive and cancer were two different things. In fact afterwords I worked even harder. During treatment I didn't slow down a lot. I wasn't going to give cancer any more of my time than it already did.

I was running hard and fast until last summer when I moved and that slowed things down a bit for me.

You better do some research on long-term stress, lack of sleep, immune system, cancer, and all those goodies! In any event, why would anybody in his right mind want 2 full-time jobs unless you're absolutely forced to do it?!

I was married to a deadbeat at the time. I was living in a town I hated. Besides I'd rather burn out than fade away. I have to be active and doing something all the time.

My body is not a temple... It is an amusement park.

I wonder how many times you can do the "Pull my finger" joke before it gets old.

It doesn't. The best is with kids and dogs.

Is that why they are so scary?

Thing is with that, I've been self-employed for probably 3/4 of my life.

I don't play well with others.

Right now I'm in a partnership, which is sort of like a marriage to someone you don't respect or like very much, but the marriage pays the bills. Plus, I have about 40 "children" to think about.

I've found that, at least for me and my "unique" personality, I can only prosper when I'm self-employed, but those days are past. Now it's just marking time.

Mine too, but I've been condemned many times for being an unsafe ride.

"You must be THIS tall to ride Phil"

I could say something along the lines of "I had to check to see what the original comment was about", but that would be in poor taste...
