I've never known anyone who did porn, but I knew a few girls who stripped and they all told me that countless men would come into the clubs and ask them how much they enjoyed stripping and giving lap dances. No one of them "liked" it, it was just a job to them but they did it for the money. Most of them were drug addicts and/or single moms.

I believe it is no different than a gynecologist looking at women all day and then later be with his wife.
During the day it is his business and at home it is his love and life with his wife.

I think only men with rich fantasy lives would really think porn stars enjoy their jobs, so that they can enjoy watching the porn more.
From what I understand, one of the reasons they pay the females more because the risk for sexually transmitted disease is so high. Doesn't that make it SEXY??
I've known a few strippers but no porn stars (and many strippers resent being called porn stars). In Houston, and other cities I'm sure, girls strip for as long as it pays well, then go into the bar business. Many bars and clubs will hire you as a bartender with limited experience if you have the right skills OO. One of the gals was one of the top earners at the nicest club in town. She hung up her heels at 35. She saved her money (likely made 150k+ in cash a year) and bought a ranch to retire on and part of a couple other businesses. She was emotionally distant or should I say detatched. She went ballistic though if she got into a fight with a bf.
The two others I knew were more party girl types, who got out around 26. They went to work in the bars...trying to find a husband before they hit 30 in that industry. The gals that worked in the lesser clubs...uh future was bleak...drugs and doing what you had to to get by.
When I lived in Oklahoma a local stripper would come into a bar near my house before her shift. SHe would throw down a FEW large cocktails to 'get ready'. Lets say she was past her prime and working a 50k town in OK to support herself. She made it known that if I wanted to give her a ride there, and keep her company (and help her make her house minimum) on a slow night, she would 'take care' of me.
I figured their job had ups and downs, like anyone else. When I went to a strip joint I was always polite to the dancers, some of my customers liked to treat them like whores (and yes, some were). I felt bad when a bunch of drunk frat boy types would come in and try to degrade them. Porn stars have choices on what acts they will do, so they control the amount of 'degredation' of sorts.
Some like it, most think its a means to make money. Heck if I was in college and had the right tools I may have done it as a part time job. I dont think too many guys would suffer, their future peers were more likely to be jealous.
I know a couple, dont underestimate the power of plastic surgery, and having more experience dealing with men.
And perhaps hard enough for some to believe, but many customers come in not for the T&A but for a sympathetic ear.
Many of the older dancers have the life-experience to be effective at this form of "entertainment" and make ridiculous amounts of money doing only that. The young ones, while they look good, haven't been around long enough to fill those roles.
So the younger ones work their thighs, while the older one empathize. Something for everyone.

Well said, and very true. I think the dancers that make the most are often the best conversationalists. After all, their job is sales. One of the older dancers I know makes big $$$ conversing and giving head/shoulder massage.
