Well said, and very true. I think the dancers that make the most are often the best conversationalists. After all, their job is sales. One of the older dancers I know makes big $$$ conversing and giving head/shoulder massage.

Actually me too...but I'm 'older' now. A shoulder massage while rubbing my temples and SKULL, really relaxes me while turning me on In my 20s I often sat on the row with the other young bucks.
I believe it is no different than a gynecologist looking at women all day and then later be with his wife.
During the day it is his business and at home it is his love and life with his wife.
How a cook that cooks all day. Does that mean he does not want to eat at home at all?

I understand separating business from pleasure, the cook example you used is lame...if I were a cook I'd still cook for myself when I got home, the gynecologist is just a legitimate job unless he starts going outside of the job and getting the girl off and/or ****ing her while in his office. It must take a special woman to have sex with multiple men and then be able to have sexual desires towards someone special. Might just be the producer waving some big greens in front of her if she agrees to do the scene.

I was under the impression the reason female porn stars get paid more than males is because it's harder to get females to do porn. Because most girls probably have some sort of respect for themselves that they would not just go out and **** anyone with a dick. But then again some females will do about anything IF you pay them enough to do it.
Men on the other hand I would think would come running by the masses to get into a porn slot, so the pay obviously is less.

For the ladies I've known in this field, they were fully able to integrate work and home with minimal disruption to either. Women seem to have an ability (among others) that allows them to separate many, many items in their minds, simultaneously, much like a computer. They - at least the ones who make it in this field - are strong as well as sexy and are fully at ease making distinctions between "sex" and "love".
We males, in contrast, are not capable of much more than following out orders like "Go to store. Get bread".
Even THEN, I used to screw it up.

Have you been closely allied with the industry, or is this just opinion? The reason I ask is because a few points of your reply sound very different than MY experiences in and around that world...

OK, that's cool *checks thread title* OK, just checking that I'm not dragging everyone off topic.
I've often wondered what specific event prompted female porn stars to become promiscuous. Most likely, it was some traumatizing incident when they were young, such as being inappropriately touched by someone of trust. It's difficult to conceptualize how a child's mind can become so distorted by being victims of an inappropriate act.
May God save all children from sexual victimization.
Here's my assumptions. A true porn star that is signed to a high end label and tours the country hitting various strip clubs and does maybe 5 films a year is probably enjoying the job. At that level I'm sure she can pick who she works with and the type of films. And the pay is probably pretty good. Now the girl doing gonzo "scene" films is definitely no where near that level. I'm talking the ones doing the more extreme things, double/triple penetrations, gangbangs , watersports , abusive/forcefull scenes , huge objects or fist etc... I'm going out on a limb here and going to say I can't see the majority of them really enjoying their careers. I'm assuming they went into the trade thinking they would be a star and were one of the 99 that didn't quite make it. So the take any kind of scene they can to make ends meet. These are the ones I see slowly withdrawing into themselves turning to drugs to numb the pain of what they are doing. Sure there are some people that do enjoy the not so vanilla things about sex but I bet the majority aren't that into it.
That was just my opinion. Hopefully I didn't offend anyone, and I apologize if I did.
