Who knows, it's possible that I would... there is a park with the lake near by, I may try one day. They do have alligators in there, will try not to get to close to the edge.
Yep, gators would be a hindrance to fishin' in FL...
Look around & join an online Florida fishing forum. Ask where other members catch fish safely, where the fishin' is good & ask how they catchem (bait,lure, etc).
A dancer is facing a possible lawsuit for biting a guy's nipple. She's all bent out of shape about it, but the guy is a known noodge who will do anything for a buck, and there are no witnesses. Probably his wife got bent out of shape about it.
Another guy wanted to test me tonight. I've tossed him out before but tonight is a full moon so he was feeling his oats. After giving me Manson lamps all night I ask him "Do you have a problem with me, sir?" He retreated rather rapidly to the exit after that - I guess I have lamps of my own.

Guy in parking lot was tossing his cookies while his car alarm was going off, his headlights illuminating the neighbor's house - had to deal with the State police on that one.
