Very happily married for 21 years, and I stand by everything I wrote. And I also stand by my prediction that by making himself available (both physically and emotionally) way too much, way too fast...that she WILL dump him in due course, probably by saying something like she's "confused' or "needs space".

It is a problem. Again, you will find this nearly impossible to believe, but you ALREADY lost her. Utter baloney. Don't follow this advice - suddenly backing off and not calling for 2 weeks is ridiculous game playing and much too childish to take seriously as advice.

Oh and don't worry about declaring yourself before she did. My DH did and we've been married more than 8 years. SOMEONE has to say 'I Love You' first. Who cares which gender it is?
