Every public restroom has one toilet fouled in the worst way from an idiot who hovers rather than use toilet protectors.

Toilet seat solutions (damn, I have too much time on my hands today):

a) leave it set for the other person, as they'll probably use it before you do again; plus it has balance: he has to put it down, she has to put it up
b) separate bathrooms
c) two seater (what ever happened to outhouses, anyway?)
d) always leave the seat down - what's a wet seat among friends?
e) put BOTH the seat and lid down so nobody gets their way - heck, let it slam to let the other know all is reset to neutral!
