Anyone sick of double standards? (dates, women, love, younger)

There was a post by another user who discussed how picky men are shallow jerks while picky women are smart. I just wanted to expand on that. I myself notice oter double standards too such as the following:

a guy chases a girl, it's normal; a girl chases a guy, she's desperate or pushy
a guy sleeps around a lot, he's a stud; a girl sleeps around a lot, she's a ****, *****, etc.
A guy gets mad, he's just expressing anger; a girl gets mad, she's a b*tch
a guy turns down a girl who he doesn't like, he's a piggish, shallow jerk; a girl turns down a guy she's not interested in, she simply didn't feel the same or he wasn't right for her.
A guy calls a girl ugly, he's a shallow pig; a girl calls a guy ugly, she gets no flak
an older guy dates a younger girl, it's normal; an older girl dates a younger guy, she's a cougar or can't get a man her age.
A guy chooses to stay home to take care of the kids, he's a wuss; a girl stays home to take care of the kids, that's normal.

I could go on and on but you get my point.

No, I'm not. Men and women may be supposed to be equal, but they don't need to be the same and act the same, and they never will.

On the other hand, I AM very tired of unisex posters!

Double standards are a part of life. Boys and girls aren't the same, and never will be. Get used to it.

sorry, men and women are different. stop expecting them to be the same, and you'll stop crying about double standards.

Men and women are equal but different. I personally believe men and women are far more similar than people previously thought. Most of the differences are not really gender based but what society expects. Thus we're now seeing more men staying at home caring for young children and women fighting in bars and getting arrested like men used to.

Not really. I'm used to it and most days it doesn't bother me. When it does, usually I'm just having a bad day in general.
