Don't many long-time married couples do this all the time?
That's a really harsh statement to make! Just because an older couple doesn't look attractive to you, doesn't mean that they aren't still attractive to their partner. First, they have their memories of when they first met and had their youthful good looks. Secondly, if it's been a good marriage, they have many emotional bonds connecting them. So while neither of them would win a beauty contest, they probably still have great amount of real affection for each other and trust between the two of them. And there is a lot to be said for feeling comfortable with your partner and knowing that they know you better than anyone else in the world. True love is a combination of equal parts of lust, like (as in being best friends) and affection.
But I feel that this thread is more about whether or not one can have lust for someone that they aren't physically attracted to. And if I like someone's personality a lot, but not the way they look, then they will only be my platonic friend and never a sexual partner.
In addition to prostitutes and gold diggers, I forgot to add porn stars to the list of women who have had sex with men they are not physically attracted to.
I remember reading an online interview with a porn star named Stephanie Swift where she was asked if she ever did a sex scene on camera with a guy she was not physically attracted to, and she said yes. But she did not specifically name drop anyone because she said she did want to hurt their feelings.
If I had to take a guess on who she was talking about, I would put my money on Ron Jeremy. That guy is ugly, fat with man breasts, and hairy as a rug.
