If you could only have one what would you choose?
A. The greatest friends and family on earth that would do anything for you, always there for you but a Horrible love life.
or
B. Absolutely NO friends or family but a wonderful s/o and a wonderful love life?

Personally I would choose B. I love being in relationships too much

I choose A, as long as I get to have sex.

Hmm, difficult one, I think I would choose B too. Like being one of the married couples who have been married for decades, they support and love each other.

I know a married couple, (who just before the husband pssed away a couple months ago) were married for 66 years. They met each other in the 3rd grade, were best friends throughout childhood and married at 18. They spent the rest of their lives together and were best friends and soul-mates.

My Grandparents were married for 54 years and I know another married couple who married in high school and have been married for 52 years. They've spent all these years in love, being together and growing up together.

The fact that they had that love and support for each other is wonderful. Nothing in the world beats that.

I not just choosing B, I've lived B most of my life. I have work colleagues but no close friends, and I am not close to any of my family. I've missed nothing. I am happily married and that trumps being close to your family or having a ton of friends.

B but I also like being close with my family. My friends recently have revealed themselves to be not so great anyway.

I'd always go with B, but now that A is pretty much my reality, it's an extremely easy choice. However, in my experience, "you and I against the world" turned into "you and I against each other"...

Well, for me, I always have friends. Hell there's tons of people who talk about me that I know nothing about. Making friends has been so easy, but I was happier with a SO, so option B feels right for me.

So...do you consider those people to be friends? I'm not sure what you are getting at
