Someone once told me, we are born alone and die alone.
It sounds shyty and harsh. I think its pretty much true, especially after watching my mom fade... she was gone.... long before she was gone......
Not the happy words that that the OP wants to hear... but it's not all bad....it's just the way it is.
Better enjoy it while you can.
