Because many of them act like it.

Not totally true. She should have an equally trash guy.

Not going to happen. They love the attention. Competing with other women is only half the equation. The other half is attention from men.

Do they love the attention? Maybe. But it seems they don't, if they are complaining about it. It is a double-standard for women, to be sure. I do think that if you dress like a hooker, you will get the kind of attention a hooker gets, and you have no right to complain.

They're complaining because the attention isn't from the highly desirable men. When it's from an attractive guy, they're all giggles. If he's unaatractive, he gets the creep label. I've never been called a creep, though some of my friends have. It's all about who gives them the attention.

Agreed.

That, I'm afraid, is true. But it can also be said of men who receive unwanted attention from women they don't find attractive, or from women who don't dress sleazy.

Even the most attractive men don't get that kind of attention. I've been approached by creepy women, but not nearly as much as women get from creepy guys.

No, I'm talking about the way some men respond to unwanted attention, even if it's subtle attention. Never mind, I can't remember where I was going with this. LOL

I receive unwanted attention too. But I generally just ignore such women.

Well I've seen some men go out of their way to embarrass or make a joke of them to others who have no business knowing. Just be a man/woman and graciously decline. Why embarrass the person?

I would never do that. I'm not that much of a d*ck. I may ignore such a woman, but I'm not going to humiliate them in front of everyone.
