Lol, it took me long enough, didn't it? I was surprised I liked it, since I don't usually go for rums....That wine last night snuck up on me & knocked me out

Captain is a spiced rum, so it's different from other rum.
The Oronoco I have, is pure rum, so it'll zonk you faster.

The last rum I ever had-- the reason I hate rum is Bacardi; we are enemies....but the Captian I had tonight didn't even taste like rum. You have good taste

Lemon butter and garlic.... can't go wrong with those..... another version is to put capers in there as well.... we usually do that over chicken... but the original was with fish......
Good stuff Maynard.
Capers would have been good with this dish. I'll keep that in mind for next time.
I made my first attempt at a lemon, butter sauce with garlic over salmon tonight. It was an easy dish to make (not real butter). It wasn't bad. I don't think I've broiled before, so I guess that's better than always sauteing.
Sounds delicious I made homemade Swedish Meatballs in Cream sauce
As long as it's not a heavy beer like Guinness I'll try it. I'm Irish but I can't drink Guinness-yuck.
