I honestly don't know what made me think about it. It just popped into my head today at work (maybe my unconscious mind wanted a massage, though my conscious mind never does!) But I am always intrigued by relationship norms in general. Seems to be a pretty good mix of opinions on this one.
I used to give massages a LOT, but learned the hard way over time that I wasn't ever going to get them back in any meaningful way. I've had ONE good massage from a long-ago lover, but otherwise have typically received that quick, almost irritated "pinch-pinch-pinch -- there, all better now?" It got to feeling like a brush-off, and these days I'm not close enough to anyone to give a massage.
I figure if someone doesn't want to return the favour but is shameless enough to ASK for a massage, then no -- bite me.
I give them 100% of the time. It sounds gay, but I wish my husband would play with my hair.
That doesn't sound the LEAST bit "gay"!
The fact is, it's one of those things which is amazingly enjoyable and casually intimate. It would be GREAT to be with someone who would lean back against me, snuggly during a movie, or lie a head in my lap, and I could just kind of let my hands lose themselves in the slow, gentle brush of fingers through hair, fingertips on scalp in that tickly, rubbing motion which is so soothing.

Fortunately, there are plenty of men willing to give massages and to many it's even their pleasure. Bite ME!
