Would you date a non-drinker?

Not single, but if I was of course I'd date a non-drinker.

My husband doesn't let me date but if he did I guess I would as long as the nondrinker didn't get all preachy when I drink a glass or two of wine.

Is a "drinker" in this context somoene who likes a glass of beer or wine in the evening, with dinner? Or is it someone who likes to hang out at bars and clubs, and drink a lot in an evening?

If a drinker is someone who likes a drink or two here and there, not a big deal to date a non-drinker. If it is more, then there is going to be a big compatability issue.

That said, I am a non-drinker (used to drink... alot... and have since quit) and as a non-drinker, I would not want to date someone who drank more than occasionally.

It depends on the personality and character more than anything.

If they don't drink and just go about their life, that's fine with me.

If they're the type that are self congratulatory because they don't drink, forget it.

I could only date a nondrinker who was cool with my drinking and didn't have a problem going with me to clubs or bars or parties where alcohol was served.

I think the real question is, would a non-drinker date a drinker?

If you don't drink, being around drunk people is absolutely no fun.

Drunk people frequently make asses of themselves.
