How many women who are not strippers go out with a guy and sleep with him after he pays for dinner or buys her some jewelry? What about women who choose to only date and marry men that are well off so they don't have to work, and often will stay in an unhappy marriage so they can live a certain lifestyle. What about the wife who after getting a nice gift from her husband decides to give him a great night of sex. What about the woman who uses sex to get her husband to do things around the house. These are all things that women do, and it is no different than a stripper who chooses to take cash in exchange for sex. Just because one woman takes cash and another uses her husband's credit card to go shopping it does not mean both women are not doing the same thing. I think some married women are bigger prostitutes than some of the women who actually do it for a living, and at least the professionals are honest about what's going on.
There is a range from dancing topless on a stage guarded by rails to grinding her crotch against her customer's until he orgasms. Then there are the illegals who actually touch a penis and/or allow a man to penetrate her for extra money

Again, the stigma should only be carried by men who go to strip clubs, not strippers. I would strongly advise against a woman choosing this as a job, because I feel that it degrades them, but they are not doing anything wrong. They are the victims. The party doing something wrong is the man who goes to the strip club because he sees women as objects.
I've never seen a naked woman in real life but at least I'm not hurting anyone by not doing so. I would rather be a 36 year old man who has never seen a naked woman in real life than go to a strip club and objectify women.

Now you are becoming one of those annoying ass people who shoves their opinions down the throats of others. When it comes to strip clubs there are no victims. The women are there working for money. The men are there for entertainment. It's a mutual understanding. No one is being victimised.
I'm almost willing to bet that most men who knowingly get involved with strippers are support staff in the sex industry themselves. The security, bartenders and DJs
I've been in strip clubs about 4 or 5 times in my whole life.
Just not my scene, no moral judgments per se..... and on that note the guys who marry strippers usually get what's coming to them as strippers and broad generalization alert here, I'd say a good chunk of them have issues... not all of course and I'm sure that there's a few who are just into it for the quick cash or are literally just working their way through school.
I don't have any desire to be with a stripper... not from some sexually frustrated, puritan POV, a man who can't handle "an empowered" woman....

Certainly not. I'm not even very religious. I fully support the sex industry being legal. I am a connoisseur of tasteful erotica produced in an ethical fashion and amateur porn, in fact. I think drugs, prostitutes, strippers, etc should all be legal.

I honestly don't know if it is moral or not nor do I really care. It's more of a it's no one's business act.
So a stripper who is home all day and takes care of the child(ren), serves the husband a nice dinner when he comes home and maybe a nice private lap dance and then goes out and dances at night when the child is asleep is a worse mom as one who works 40 hours a week, too tired to have sex with hubby, doesn't cook and the kid grows up in daycare and with nannies? REALLY?
You object to negative stereotyping of strippers. I'm with ya there. To me, they're just working for a living like anyone else. But don't cha think you're a little heavy on the stereotyping here, yourself? Just a tad? Not to mention that you also manage to stoke the fires of the relentless Mommy wars. Good gawd, I thought those finally died.
Yeah, you've got the Selfish, Cold Working Mother vs. Sexy, Loving SAHM steretypes down pat. But I've heard the stereotypes the other way around, too (working woman = sexy and independent; SAHM = frumpy and boring).
BTW, I was a SAHM for 8 years, and I must confess (with shame!) that I didn't often give my husband a private lap dance before MY second shift, which included bathing the kids and getting them down to bed, clearing up the dinner dishes, packing my husband his lunch, and starting yet another load of laundry. I guess I must have been a little tired.
