If by overseas, you're talking third world countries...yeah, I guess men could expect extraordinary treatment. These women are looking for a savior...can't blame them.
In many cases yes, but in other cases it's simply because American men are known to treat women VERY WELL opposed to their own genuine misogynistic men.
For example my x Japanese lady was so thrilled that I opened doors for her and carried her bags; she said Japanese men don't do this.
Regardless, if a poor woman is looking for a savior and a man with cash to spend is looking for a good woman who treat him well, WHO CARES if they hook up and live happily ever after! Good for them! They both get what they want out of the deal and it's an even trade.....

The reason most guys even strive to have decent careers, make more money, drive a certain kind of car, and afford nice clothes is so that they can attract women...and why do they want to attract women? For sex. Sure, you'll always have guys who don't think sex is a big deal, but they aren't the norm whatsoever.
Your best bet SD is to get a passport if you don't have one and spend time in other countries where the women are more friendly and the culture views sex no different from eating and drinking. I kid you not, I know of guys who are completely ignored here in the States, but when they go overseas the foreign women treat them like rockstars/Gods.
Then once they've snagged the guy, the demands for gifts and financial help to family members begins. Or once they have the Amerikansky visa, they go bye-bye. We've seen those threads. OnihC seems to have great luck in Thailand and Japan, though. The doc could try there. But he still has to come home to .... zip. So he still needs to figure out how to be more attractive to or sociable with women in his own country. Monumentus has posted some good advice. The doc could try that. Actually working on himself instead of blaming women, or blaming his height.

so boo hoo for men. that's their problem if they put all they're worth into their sex lives. If they spent as much time on actual relationships and talking to women halfway decent as they did on the sexual elements of life, maybe they would've gotten somewhere.

Not starting this to complain or start gender debates, but just want to post a serious question. Is it incredibly uncommon for a man in his 30s to not have sex for this long, while actively (attempted to get dates, meet people in social settings, etc) trying? Is it weird enough to assume multiple defects on my part or is there anyone else in a similar situation? I don't usually discuss this with people I know (partly out of embarrassment), so I was not sure if maybe it was more common than I thought.
Im curious to know if anything has fallen off from you not using your sexual organs in so long ? Im not sure if basing whether something is 'wierd' or not on a consensus of subjective opinions is the best truth source in the matter . I think our present culture would find it highly unusual if youve been assertively trying to find casual sex in social settings like bars, etc... and have come up empty after some six years of trying . So, how do YOU feel about it and are you going to base your self esteem on it ?
I'm sure the guys who are commenting on this, the guys who are in a drought, are not saying that their situation is by CHOICE.
It's by choice now, but that's mainly because of lack of any other option besides FWB or ONS situations -- it wasn't always by choice but you should know that since you know all about me......
anyway, just like people used to tell me 'let men use you for sex then' or 'go get a male escort' I say the same thing to them: go get a hooker. problem solved.
