One of my best friends once asked my husband to take her to a movie she really wanted to see. Her husband did not want to see it, and neither did I.

I was fine with him doing that for her

That's an open-ended question.

I've been asked out by my friends wives. That's because they know me and maybe there husband has to work during the time they can take in a movie.

If it's a stranger who's married and they're asking you to the movies, no she shouldn't and you shouldn't accept.

We need to know more about the circumstances, OP. You've given us nothing to go on. I guess that means that the answer is: "It depends".

edit: ok, in view of your latest post: why is she asking you to the movies? Are you strangers? How does she know you, if she knows you? Ya gotta do better than this, OP.

Here's a hint, give details otherwise you are going to get answers that don't really apply.

You know her from school...how well do you know her? Do you know her family? Have you done social things with her within a group...etc.

details.

OP..you would have to post more information. Normally I would just say no. But, who is this woman to you..a friend, an ex..etc. Do you know her husband? How close are all of you? Has she ever had an attraction to you..or you to her? what is the nature of your friendship with her, and her spouse?

A lot of that matters, because the way you said it makes it sound like some random married chick that you know asked you out to a movie. In which case I would say no you should not go and she should not be asking.
