Might be strange, but I've always had a thing for weather girls on the news Not that I am particularly into the weather, but they are usually quite attractive. (Especially Ginger Zee for those that lived in Chicago)

I've had female friends that tell me that they have a soft spot for Firemen! And we all know the ladies like Doctors!

So just curious, what professions are you attracted to?

I'm attracted to people, not professions.

Strippers/pole dancers/exotic dancers are the only real exception to that, because it's largely the point of their profession, to be attractive.

Pilots. Duh.

I have a weird soft spot for physicists and science-type intellectuals. I met an astrophysicist at a book store a long time ago and I think I followed him around like a puppy for a good solid half hour asking him nonsensical questions about starstuff.

Interesting! I saw a very famous singer tweet this week that she is dating a normal man ... a pilot ... and I thought this was fitting because he can basically follow her anywhere she goes on tour. Funny enough, she tweeted that he surprised her in just that fashion. It sounded nice.

Mechanics, welders, carpenters... I dunno - maybe because they have good hobbies? I'm also not very good with the things that they do, so I guess I feel like their occupations balance us as a couple, since I've got a desk job.

Law enforcement, military, emergency responders (paramedics, EMTs) and generally any type of blue collar worker. (I think it was because that's what I was comfortable with because of my families' careers.)

I was never interested in meeting MDs, businessmen (despite having a business degree) or anybody in the creative field. One of the reasons why I kept deleting my husband's profile was because he was in "sales" and I had yet to meet someone in sales that I liked as a person.
