Is there anyone who knew that a certain woman would end up being their wife, as soon as you laid eyes on her? (not because of her beauty but something else about her grabbed you).
The minute I laid eyes on my ex I thought to myself "I'm gonna marry that girl." And a few years later I did.
I don't think his wife changed him, but she represented possibilities and a future he had never contemplated before. She gave him the reason he needed to change his life, and if he didn't know it at first sight, he did shortly after they met.

I was dating someone when I met my husband thru mutual friends. I didn't think alot about him at the time, was having fun at a concert we all went to. This was in March 1987. I didn't see him again untl June 1987 but was only for a few minutes, again saw him in July, I was single then, we started dating...we got married November 1987. Both times he saw me prior to July he told our friends that he was going to marry me. He was right.
If she was like a 4 on looks then it isn't that hard to land that girl. Hardly any guy wants to go out with a girl that is below average.

I know a lot of men I wouldn't touch with your pole!...Women get approached by men "we feel sorry for" and accept drinks, talk to them and dance with them cuz WE ARE NICE!! date them?? NO WAY!! You give a 4 to someone who's heart is an 11 !! Silly you!! You just passed up an awesome woman!!

I'm honestly wavering between thinking this is sweet and thinking this is creepy. If a man came up to me and announced that I was going to be his wife someday, I'd run. But if that guy tried to get to know me, develop a relationship with me, and later on when he put the ring on my finger say, "You know, when I first met you I just knew you were going to be my wife." I would think differently. Be flattered, even.
I agree ... its flattering but I would run too. That NEVER happens .
