It would depend on the situation. A shove in anger basically means that you have trouble controlling yourself when your angry. I would voice how this issue needs to be addressed immediately and if they ever touch me in anger again (push, slap, punch, etc.) then it will be over. It is childish and someone who sees such actions as rational is not ready for a serious relationship.
Ofcourse this is assuming I don't deserve it. If I did something worth a smack in the face then I wouldn't be surprised when I got one.:P
Well, bf and I have never been in an argument but we have both just agreed that it would not be break-up worthy, just get back and push them in the pool worthy.

From my experiences that usually doesn't work out well because you want to keep getting back at each other. Maybe I just know some aggressive people.
Not sure, like has been said, it would depend on the circumstances.
Like all things, there are circumstances involved... was this a person you we're just hardly seeing... did you deserve being pushed in the water? Were you acting like a jerk?
I've been with Mrs. CHow a long time... I can say things to irk her enough to toss my ass in a pool.........
You guys are bugging. "Borderline assault" for pushing someone in a pool? Right.
What does he weigh like 80lbs? I'd have just grabbed you on the way in. And if I'd have missed, I'd have got out of the pool, grabbed you, and jumped back in the pool.
"If I go home soaking, you're goin' home soaking too!"
But, can't blame him if he dumps you, because if he did that to you, you'd dump him.
