If this is how you really feel (and I doubt it, seems like bitterness to me), then why bother to post on a relationship forum? Go play video games and don't make anyone feel bad for wanting to find love.

What you're doing is presenting two extremes as the only two options.

Yes, putting women on a pedestal or worshiping them is very unattractive. Duh.

That does not then mean that acting like a toolbag will make you attractive.

Both options are unreasonable. One can be romantic without being whipped.

Men in the earlier days never fell for this crap. I blame hollywood for making marriage into something romantic, when you're only supposed to get married for financial stability. That's how it used to be. Romance betafies men and it's a threat to our naturally aggressive nature. Because of the media, romance books and stupid love filmslike Twilight... men these days have gone soft. The romance fairytale is for women. How can any sucker honesty say he's in "love" and not feel embarrassed? It's just corny.

I actually feel sorry for you, you must be so sad.

Well done to all those men who actually admit to being happily in love

Stop lying sir!! You married your wife for financial stability you could not achieve if you were alone, not to mention procreation, and sealing treaties with your marriage. (People still seal treaties through marriage right??)

Yes, my family is currently negotiating an alliance with Spain for my hand. The French will cower before our united front!
