Sad story.

Those kids are old enough to know better than to act that way though. This man raised them for almost 20 years and now they want nothing to do with him? It's not like they're little kids the mom could brainwash.

If he still feels like a father to his kids, why did he get the DNA test?

Inquiring minds want to know.

The rumors probably ate away at him.

There could be medical issues which would be important to establish a father to take a look at family history as far as DNA goes. Besides, I think the man has the right to know the truth, however ugly it may be. Besides it was the mom who up in this case.

Then he's a weak man and father and I probably wouldn't be too keen to be around him, either. He sounds more concerned about propogating his DNA than being an actual father.

I think it's really easy to stand and judge him, but I imagine hearing rumors that your wife was getting around while you were married - and the kids may not be yours - is a devastating revelation. I imagine he wanted to know, as most would.

Um I don't think that was his intention lol. Maybe he had other evidence, who knows.

I agree he has the right to know and thy his wife is pretty lousy for deceiving him, but now he's upset that his kids don't want to be around a man who cared more about genetics than their relationship? I don't find that part shocking or tragic at all.

That's what I'm saying! If I had raised kids and then found out they weren't mine, I'd feel like a piece of toosh.
