I was forced to go out and learn about cars whether or not my dad needed help or not.
Because of that, I have knowledge of cars, but I 100% don't care for cars. They get me from point A to B and that's all I care about.
Cartalk couldn't be more boring to me. LOL
But I just wanted to post that since this thread is knee deep in car talk, because there always a stick in the mud!
I've come to appreciate them a bit more since meeting my BF...he is a lifelong "car guy". I consider myself enriched by all the new things that I have learned about since we started dating.
The thing about cars is that it isn't just about cars... its about Americana... its about hot dogs and bar b que's its about the American dream.. its about many things other than just cars......
It's a culture... its a way of a life... it's how we relate to others... In short... it's America... the good the bad and the otherwise.......

I must be anti-american. I don't eat hotdogs and BBQ and we drive foreign cars
Give me a '69 Chevelle SS, or a '69 Camaro. '69 was a very good year!
When my brother came back from Nam he bought a red&black 1968 Camaro 350 SS.
I had a black 1962 Chev Impala 409, 4 speed, with 2-4barrel carbs.....I've always loved mostly older vehicles. ...They have personality & class, etc.
