Funny thing is I had to bring more carbs back in to my diet because I was having too many problems with blood sugar drops. Now I've got to rework my diet to a happy medium, so I don't pass out from not eating enough of those pesky carbs. A work in progress. Not giving up on losing more weight though, just taking a break till I can find that right balance. Either too much sweet or too little knocks me off balance and I'm not a diabetic. At least the mystery of my lifelong intolerance for alcoholic beverages has sort of been demystified for me.

I couldn't resist.
The last time I went to church there was an old pastor who preached about how wonderful George W. Bush was doing in the White House and how it was a born again Christian and about how the end of the World was coming anytime now.

So he'd probably ask about adding more fried foods to the meal.

I got a snow day today!

Would love another one tomorrow, but I doubt it will happen. I can always use vacation time if I need to, though.

I was going to say, tacos really aren't all that bad. But yeah...THAT is bad!

Do you have a fryer? I REALLY want one so I can make zeppoles and struffoli...but it's not really worth the cost I guess if that's all I'm going to use it for.

I mean you can order an Asian salad for example and a lot of times the dressing can be pretty sugary... things like that...
I lose weight when I drink wine...no kidding. I've tried low carb (that didn't work at all, but I don't really eat a lot of refined carbs so maybe that's why), I've tried low fat...wine though. If I have a glass of red every night I either maintain or lose weight. When I go without I gain. No kidding.

We aren't home in the daytime so it's not too bad. I opened the windows and put the fans on, despite the pollen we have right now.
