Honestly, he sounds like the kind of guy that no woman would want to be in a relationship with. He is jealous and possessive which equals controlling. He may tell you that he does this crap because he cares and loves you, but he is a bully that doesn't know the meaning of love. Then he has one set of rules for you to follow and another set for him, which makes him seem to me like a male chauvinist.
The best thing to do is to leave him. Next time he get mad and flips out, just leave and don't let him back into your life. This is not the type of guy that you want to be with for the rest of your life. A real man that loves you would not be so illogical or controlling. You want a man that respects you, trusts you and treats you like an equal.
