The definition for the human meaning of alpha make:

Quote:

dominant man: a man who controls the activities of a group and to whom others defer

I've really started to notice in the last year or so how I become more and more of an alpha male. Anytime I'm in a group, I take the lead. Even when I don't want too, everyone else doesn't make decisions so I end up making them.

As I get older, I've noticed alot of my friends gain some weight and haven't made the best financial decisions. Myself, I look at myself like a business...if I'm not doing better year after year, that's a problem.

I'm not saying I'm perfect but when I compare myself to most people, I feel like I'm doing/looking/feeling better than most.

For the women, are you attracted to alpha males? I know it can be a real thin line between confident and cocky. I definitely run down that line sometimes but tend to know when to chill out my doucheyness, lol.

Meh... I don't bother with Alpha male stuff.... read this description and I adhere more to this thinking...Alpha males need people to acknowledge their "status" which in of itself is sort of pussified... if you ask me.

Urban Dictionary: omega male

nope. I may very well have alpha traits, but I don't care to be considered an alpha or any of those dumb terms people use to describe people.

I am a mix of both and my BF is more of a alpha male but even he has some traits that are not alpha male ones.

I'm sorry, but it appears this thread is a 'look at me, look at me' thread. Sort of like a dog pissing on a few fire hydrants and saying, "here spot, sniff this and weep!" You aren't coming across as an attractive alpha male - more insecure and looking for validation.

Men who are true leaders don't go around spouting off about being an "alpha male"....... LOL, the obviousness of this statement seems to be lost on the masses.....
