Well, if this makes you feel better 33 is in the age range of young adulthood (20-39) according to Erikson's stages of human development. Most of the yuppie crowd are in their late 20s to mid 30s.
I guess the whole point of the slideshow you presented here was to show us how much you aged in the last 10 years by having an obsessive interest in these type of activities. At least it appears you do have a social life, just in non-mainstream stuff.
There is really nothing wrong with being into nerdy/geeky things. Personally, I don't refer to myself as a nerd/geek because of the connotation behind it. I've seen quite a few non-nerdy adults who play video games, especially if it pertains to sports, GTA, and Call of Duty. I myself love reading manga, and have been for nearly 2 years (just turned 24), although I'm not into cosplay. I have gain an interest in studying Japanese and I'm inspired to write my own fictional story. I will admit that my social life have deteriorated over the past 1 1/2-2 years. I guess the key is to try to maintain a casual or mild interest in nerdy things and go out more.
