I'm not an old timer. I'm only 27 and I'm just more traditional. The guy I'm currently dating is 8 years older than me. I had to tell him that I hate texting as its so impersonal. He kept up the texting habit for a few days and now we talk, on the phone every day that we don't see each other since he knows I hate texting. you text your buddies, not your date/SO. I'm not the norm though. Most of my girlfriends don't like to talk on the phone much with guys they're dating unless its pretty serious. but they all eventually talk to the guys on the phone. That's just how it should be, in my eyes. I've even had guys drop me like a bad habit cause they knew I preferred phone calls. Oh well.
