Wheresthebeef and Idontdateyou, you are both correct in your rebuttals to each other. Neither one of you are wrong as you both have presented valid points. Men need to be careful, as taxpayers don't want to pay for other people's children. Women need to be careful because they could be stuck with an unplanned pregnancy.

Having to write out a check every month is still easier than having to keep the kid!
True but sad. I don't disagree that some women trap men and all of that ( you didn't say that but often a comment) but it's why both need to be careful.
No way, I wouldn't even date a dude that doesn't see or support his kids on a regular basis. It's something about a good character that I like. Just saying!
I think anyone who has a child should take on the responsibility of the child. But I know people who are related to me who have kid(s) whom they have nothing to do with other than paying child support and they get way more dates than me! Most women would date the guy if they were interested in him, as long as the mother of the child doesn't interfere with the relationship. It's sad but true.
Yeah, two sides that should be supporting it emotionally and financially.
Exactly. What we often have are one parent (usually but not always)raising the child, increasingly on welfare while baby daddy is nowhere to be found. Baby daddy then often makes more welfare babies we pay for. If you have a kid it's your (you in general)responsibility. A man if he isn't the custodial parent should be paying child support. There is rarely two sides to thus story unless the mom didn't tell him. If she did tell him and he refused to help he's to blame.
