I did once, but I was ugly and relatively (probably the last year) sane.

Now I'm better looking, but probably nuts.

All sorts of oddballs manage to find someone before they kick the bucket. I doubt anyone is too weird for a relationship (except me of course).

I think I like you. I have been turning weird in only the last 5 years,so that adult child part resonates with me.In my teens-mid 30s I was serious, straight laced and no fun.

But then I realized, Who am I trying to impress? No wife,no kids, no real responsibilities, why not let the freak flag fly a little?

I am so much happier this way.

I wasn't necessary ugly, I just became self aware. Which I must say, is THE WORST thing that has ever happened to me so far.

Became self aware, made myself better looking, lost some sanity in the process. I'm ok enough to notice something's wrong.

Became overly critical of self.

Isolate oneself for months to make physical improvements, end up bat**** and vain.

OMG I love Michael Jackson . But I believe the Peter Pan girl is called "the maniac pixie dream girl" aka real like Zooey deschanel. Apparently sometimes it could be good , it brings back feelings of nostalgia for men (see book: The Art of Seduction by robert Greene)
