tell him you are thinking about booking 2 rooms and taking a cab from the party or set up a reliable DD ..... be safe not sorry in any way.....

Tell him you reserved a room for yourself, because you don't want to go all the way home after the party.

Tell him, he should perhaps reserve a room for himself too, so he doesn't have to drive all the way home (seeing as how you two aren't lovers yet ).

Take a cab to & from the party.

here's what you do, you reserve a room for both of you

if you want to see what this guy is made of - test his character

when you get back to the room, tell him you have the bed, and he has the floor,, or chair, or sleep out in the car

you have skimpy lingerie on....

see how respectful he is of your requests... if he passes, the sleep on the floor like a dog test..he might be a keeper

you may as well find out now, than 5-8 months down the road..

Let's see, alcohol, motel room, beds, changing clothes. Looks like your setting the stage for sex. And even if you say up front, this is not for sex, it looks like you're expecting him to come on to you. Skip the alcohol and the motel.

And if you setting up a "test" to test his character, please don't do that. Guys hate that stuff. How would you like it if he came on to you and then just said he was testing you?
