I don't get the whole "monogamy justification" for promiscuous behavior. "Getting to know yourself" is such a joke. It has it's name and it has nothing to do with monogamy in any form or definition, neither with stricter nor looser definition of it. People want to say that sex is to be treated like car drive when THEY say so, but at some point it should become worth of eternal worship when THEY think it should... that's basically "serial monogamy". This social construct will not last for long and it falls apart even with vehement support through the media and with serious attempts to make legal frame to support it.
Monogamy is a social construct. If people want to abandon that social construct, they should stop branding promiscuity with "monogamy" brand, that's first. Then they should stop with the hypocrisy when sex on the side is involved. This means that they shouldn't care as long as a certain number of criteria should be involved (referring to diseases, someone else's children, etc) and they should otherwise never either question or care about whom their partner is having sex with, either in past, present or future.
All I see is something like this - don't criticize me for whatever I do but don't you dare to have even an opinion that I may not like because I can't get over that. And then comes the part where they also want the laws to make sure that the laws will follow such setting.
Oh yeah, I'm wrong because the mainstream media coverage still sells the "serial monogamy" as part of ideology and I'll be wrong until media and their ideological sponsors decide to side with my opinion.
I'm gonna go ahead and assume that the dude who started that thread is a virgin wo is (ahem) lacking, and who, in real life, is terrified of talking to women.

OP, why do you keep going into those bodybuilding forums?
I started revisiting the bodybuilding forum relationship section (I had originally abandoned that site long ago) when a male member copy and pasted one of the threads here. Someone here informed me of that and so I went back to that bodybuilding site. I'm thinking of abandoning that site again, for good. Don't think I've ever seen that much hatred for women before, very few nice male posters but most are jerks that make a horrible representation of the male population. Yeah, maybe I'm getting a bit frustrated over what I've been reading there.
Understand that much, if not most, of what is said on that forum is for entertainment, ie said in jest or to troll and rile people up. Don't take it seriously. Even if he is serious, he's in a tiiiiny minority.
